INITIAL PROPERTY SEARCH
The Initial Property Search tool is employed to
locate a property for analysis or a piece of personal property--specifically
manufactured homes which are subject to personal property taxation. Parcels
are identified by a parcel number, while personal property is assigned a Tax
Identification number. To use this search tool:
- Parcel Number: enter a valid parcel number in BOOK
- MAP- PARCEL - SPLIT format. For example 111-11-111D. Press SEARCH BY
PARCEL.
- Book Map: enter a valid assessor book number, and
the maps within book will be loaded to the map list box. Select the
desired map within the assessor book and press Search Book.
- Street: begin typing a street name into the second
box. As the system recognizes street names, selection options will be
presented. Select the desired street. Pressing SEARCH BY STREET NUMBER
will open the map to all parcels on the street. If desired, entered an
address number prior to conducting the search, and the specific parcel
assigned the address number and street will be opened.
- Owner: enter an owner's name and press SEARCH BY
OWNER NAME. The name need not be an exact match: Bob Farnsworth will
work as well as Farnsworth, Bob.
